Coach Andy Hawks has been busy the last few years writing a book! He sent it off and it was published. You can pick up your copy at Amazon.com or Barnes & Nobles. It is a great book detailing his life, how sports influenced him, his teaching/coaching career, and lifes tragedies and triumphs.
This book is the story of a high school coach, like many others in the United States, striving to help young people, while persevering through low pay, long hours, and much criticism. This author has written the story to describe extraordinary obstacles that all may face along with almost insurmountable odds which many do not face in succession. The name of the book could easily have been entitled Perseverance.
