I was notified this morning that Scott Ward passed away last night. Cause of death at this time is unknown, but it happened while he was sleeping. Scott was a former assistant coach for Ed Mutio at Wake Forest, and was actively involved in coaching the Red Zone Razors club team. Scott worked at Fike High School as was the Athletic Trainer there. He would frequent the tournaments I hosted bringing wrestlers all the time as well as many other tournaments. I was asked to post this so as to inform the wrestling community. Will post funeral details as I get them.
