Jimmy C. Draughn will be hosting two high school duel events on Saturdays June 24th and July 29th.
Start time of 8 am
We will use 4 mats and have refs
Match up between 14-16 matches per dual.
Time periods will be 2-1-1.
Once a wrestler pins their opponent, we will let them restart in neutral and continue to wrestle. If a second pin occurs, it will stop the match and go to the next one.
We won't be weighing our kids in, but please have a list of your wrestlers with grade, weight, and skill level so we can use that to match kids up appropriately.
We will group teams into groups of 4 on each mat and rotate until everyone has wrestled everyone. We will then re-bracket and get every team, 2 more duals. If it's not too late we can wrestle another dual.
8th graders who are rising freshmen can be used.
5 duals guaranteed, possibly 6.
Please bring one person to run a table.
Entry Fee will be $200
We're looking for 16 teams. So far Confirmed are:
June 24th (Person, Draughn, East Burke, Chase, Ragsdale, Trinity)
July 29th (East Burke, Trinity, Draughn)
