Great idea....hope we dominate down there. Will host state rotate or is always planned for Myrtle?

If possible, please clarify date and provide start time. March 2nd is a Saturday.

Probably planned for Myrtle for the foreseeable future I would think since SC is adding us to their event that has been around for a long time. Hopefully this becomes a regular event and they can look into rotating locations in the future.

I asked Coach Belk if we could suggest that the event flip flops each year. Myrtle Beach this year, somewhere in NC next year. He though this was a good suggestion and will suggest to those in SC that are involved with this.

How was the team chosen? Only seniors? Did some first choices decline? Good looking team, but is it the best team NC could pick?

The team was chosen from a pool of Senior wrestlers that were submitted by coaches throughout the season.

Anyone have updates on how Team NC did against S.C? I’m hoping 84-0 Team NC but I may be slightly off.

138 Ralph Inge-Cane Bay
145 Chandler Smalley-Abbeville
152 Garrett Starks- Woodmont

I have gotten a chance to see both NC and SC a bunch this year. I believe NC will win 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 182, 195, 220. The rest I think can go SC or a toss up. Should be a fun event!

I think 145 and 160 would also be very hard for SC to win.
