NC hasn’t had a 4x since 2009 (Mock and Creed)

Here are some kids who had a shot but didn’t get it done: (criteria-won as a freshman)

I think it is the wording you used. Sounds a little demeaning. Could have been phrased better, we are still talking about kids.

It shows how hard it is to accomplish.  There have only been 9 I think to ever be 4-timers.  One questionable call or one bad match and it goes away.  There were alot of 3x champs crowned at the State tournament this year.  Which is a GREAT accomplishment.  I'm guessing Landon Foor will get it done, but you never know.

Interesting note. 2 ten year periods with different results when comes to 4x timers.

Honestly, I think it is because the depth in NC is getting better making harder to win.
