Union Pines HS Wrestling Coaching Opportunities:
UPHS Wrestling is recruiting for coaches to assist at the HS level and our two feeder Middle Schools. New Century MS and Crains Creek MS. Al three schools are located in Moore County and are on the same road with each MS about 5 miles from the HS.
Union Pines Wrestling has been a highly successful program for over 10 years and on the verge of being a State Championship team and one of the top teams in NC 3A. Following are some highlights of the programs success:
~Won 11 Straight Conference Tournament Titles
~Won 7 consecutive Conference regular seasons from 2010-2016
~Conference record of 62-5 the last 11 years
~Since 2010, UP has finished top 5 six times at the 3A State Tournament, with back-to-back State
Runner-up finishes in 2011 and 2012.
~UP has produced 3 State Champs, and 37 State placers since 2008, with at least one state placer
for the Vikings in 11 straight years.
