John M. Morehead High School is looking for it's next head coach. The previous head coach took a coaching job at the collegiate level. Located in Rockingham County, Morehead will have multiple teaching positions available. The team is projected to return 2 state champions, a 3rd place finisher, and 2 other state qualifiers from its fourth place individual team finish this past year at the state tournament. The team has been on the rise over the last three seasons having won the 2A Mid-State Conference the past two seasons (7 All Conference members return) and the 2A Mideast Regional this past year. The program has a year round wrestling room, captain's room, and coaching office. Program currently consists of two assistants ready to help the new head coach when he gets on campus.
