Who are the middle school hammers moving up this year we should keep a eye on?

I am sure that I am missing some, but to name a few, Brandt Fajarman, Davis Freeze, Jackson Baglio, Eli Murray, Logan Haseley, Easton Shelley, Sam Kincaid, Jeremiah Price, Jaydon Dobeck, Seth Blackledge, Kage Williams.

I will keep my eyes on those boys. Its always interesting watching successfully MS kids transition to High School.
Any others out there I should look for?

Don’t forget about Brock Carey
Also Joe Sealey, Logan Fite, Ray Ray Watson , and Daniel Freeman will be good out of the gates as well.

I had heard the name Joe Sealey before. A buddy at the office had mentioned him. He also said there is a kid out west of Asheville that was going to be special but couldn't remember the name. Said he doesn't wrestle in NC a lot but is putting in the time nationally.

Joe, Is definitely a middle school hammer. He already has impressive wins over 2A State champs and 3A state qualifiers in NC. Plus putting in a ton of work nationally. However he is only in 7th grade. So he wont be on the high school stage for another entire year.

Yep. It has and I HATE it.
Wrestling is a small part of life. Doing this sends the wrong message about what is important in life.

One person's opinion about what is important may not be shared by another person. Let parents and kids do as they desire provided it doesn't physically hurt someone else. If kids want to reclassify then more power to them. If they choose not to then the same power all the way.

A mighty fine point. We all get a bit much involved in other people's business. The reclassing at times may be due to things not sports related, although some or most probably are. Another point is that the people in the NC wrestling community want our guys to compete nationally as we all should. You might be surprised to know how many kids from OH, Cal, PA, NJ, etc reclass. Sometimes at the juncture between elementary and MS. It just makes it a level playing field if NC guys follow suit. They are competing for the same college spots. You can't have it both ways. When someone sees it go down, they say well if my kid has to reclass to compete......well that is all relative. Where are you attempting to compete? Is it be the best in Buncombe county, The best in Eastern NC, or are you attempting to be the best in the county? And at its most basic level, Mr. Atwood is correct, the decision is a holistic one best made by the family who has the most valid and accurate information.

We aren’t lacking nationally because of reclassified kids. That is a whole separate topic.
If you’re good at wrestling you’re good at wrestling. Better wrestlers win matches.
If a kid is not struggling academic or has a medical issue then there is no reason to reclassify. Yes, that is my opinion and yes, others may not share my opinion.
