Title: Fargo

What's everyone's opinion on Fargo? You see a lot coming out of NC USA Wrestling about doing freestyle and attending Fargo. We all know its expensive. What kid should attend? Placers at our state tournament? Only the state champs? Anybody that has the money? Kids wanting to wrestle in college? As coaches pushing freestyle who do you push to go?

If you can qualify in the FS/GR state tournament and have the funds absolutely you should go.  However, if you can only choose one expensive trip for national competition and you're not sure you can win at least a couple matches at Fargo then going to National Duals is a better bang for your buck.  You can spend $1500 on fargo and that doesnt include food and spending money on the trip and go 0-4 at the tournament.  $1000 trip for duals and you get a minimum of 12 matches so even if you go 0-12, you still got 12 matches better and see how the best in the country wrestle.
