Title: In state off season dual events?

Any one hosting any in state off season dual events? Looking to hit up some more dual events this off season without having to spend a million dollars traveling the country.

Piedmont High School Host a Summer Duals.  We will have 4 -5 Mats and run a format to get everyone the most possible matches.  We will have this on Thursday, June 18th this year.  We charge 10 dollars a wrestler or 200 dollars a team.

Teams committed - Piedmont, Apex Friendship, Parkwood, Cedar Ridge, E Guilford Wrestling CLub, Uwharrie Charter,  Weddington/Cuthbertson, Union Pines, RS Central, Lumberton

Still awaiting confirmation from - Bandys, Vision Quest, Scotland,

I won't say lock us in yet, cause thats a ways out. But Lumberton is definitely interested. Whats the format of the event?

Coaches match up wrestlers before each round and wrestle up to 14 matches per dual.  We work to get each team 6-7 matches.  No weigh ins, Coaches are asked to weigh in their own team beforehand.   Email me if Interested and I can give any further details you may need.  James.belk@ucps.k12.nc.us

I.   Date: May 28 – May 29, 2020 (Thurs./Fri)
Times:     Thursday ? TBA    Friday    ? TBA?   (will notify starting times later) 
   Entry Fee: $ 300.00 (make checks payable to “PF Wrestling”)
Format: 12-16 Teams / 6 mats (you may use other wrestlers from a different school to fill a weight class)

Union Pines will host our duals June 25, same concept as Piedmont.

Manteo High School is looking for summer duals as well. We are already signed up for Union Pines, and would like to find some stuff here in Eastern North Carolina.

West  Brunswick is planning on hosting one at some point. Thats in the east.
