Title: Why was there a team forfit between E Guilford and West Meck?

Any know the reason for the team forfit between Eastern Guilford and West Mecklenburg yesterday?

Because West Meck didn't show.

This is the very reason having a team ranked 98th in the 3A division with a record of 3-27 should not be allowed into the dual team tournament regardless of where they finished in their split conference.  West Mecklenburg qualified because they beat a West Charlotte team with a dual meet record of 1-14.

I think the NCHSAA could do better if they wanted to   Post season events should be about the best NC has to offer   Not the worst.

OR .... teams who do not wish to be in the post season let the NCHSAA that you are chosing to opt out... and allow another wild card to be entered.
