High School Wrestling / Caitlyn Price Memorial Duals Opening - 12/6
« Last post by cougarcoach12 on September 09, 2024, 08:34:02 AM »We recently had a team drop out of the Caitlyn Price Memorial Duals at Alexander Central and are looking to for 1 team to complete the tournament. It is a Friday night duals with excellent hospitality and well run (in my opinion). We are usually finished by around 10pm and the best part is that you have a Saturday off. Also, we set up 2 mats in the other gym for JVs to get matches. Email Josh Williamson (jwilliamson@alexander.k12.nc.us) if interested or if you would like more information. Thanks.

Entry Fees: Cash Only, No Checks Accepted
$35 for pre-registered wrestlers
$30 for extra division or weight.
$50 Walk-in fee.
$10 Spectator Fee
Wrestlers MUST be pre-paid and pre-registered by 5PM on September 13th.
Final registration and weigh-ins are 8-9 AM the morning of the tournament.
Wrestling will begin as close to 10 AM as we can get.
ALL COACHES MUST HAVE BACKGROUND CLEARANCE APPROVAL PRIOR TO TOURNAMENT TO BE ABLE TO COACH. Coaches unable to provide background clearance will be required to pay spectator fee and sit in the stands.

Coaches must have at least 5 wrestlers for free entry. All coaches who are coaches at a high school or middle school as approved and verified by their school have free entry regardless of number of wrestlers.

MIDDLE SCHOOL (grades 7/8/9) (16-year-olds must compete in high school) – 70,75,83, 90, 98, 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220, 285
HIGH SCHOOL (grades 9/10/11/12) (19 or older must compete in college/open) – 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 144, 150, 157, 165,175, 190, 215, 285

OPEN (Out of high school) – MADISON SYSTEM

$20 before October 21st and $30 after October 21st.
Check in will take place from 8:30-9:30 am and Wrestling will begin at 10:30 am.
4 mats of Wrestling - 2/1/1 Periods for all Divisions.
***Divisions may start at different times depending on number of entries.
