Good Afternoon Coaches,

I hope your offseason has been productive so far and you are counting down to your summer. Last year our wrestling club hosted our 2nd HHH Holiday Classic Wrestling Tournament. Because of your support we have decided to run it back again this year. I would like to invite you to our 3rd Edition of the HHH Holiday Classic Weekend.

This is an individual style format tournament in which we will host a Varsity, Junior Varsity and Women's tournament as well as a K-8 tournament for our youth wrestlers. This event will take place Friday and Saturday December 5th/6th, while our Youth Tournament will take place Sunday December 7th. Our location will once again be hosted by Churchland High School in Portsmouth, Virginia. Competition will be competed on 8 mats for this event and bouts will be run through Trackwrestling as well. We will be giving out big custom medals for our placers as well as hammers for our champions, M.O.W. awards, as well as team trophies. We will have a hospitality room for our coaches as well as concessions for our spectators. Tournament fee is $400 for a Varsity team, $400 for a Junior Varsity team, and $400 for a Girls team. $200 for half a team and $40 per individual registered. If you have ever been to a HHH event, you know we like to make it a fun and electric atmosphere while at the same time showcasing our athletes and moving at a well run pace. We look forward to doing the same this year.

Last year we hosted over 40 teams from all over Virginia, North Carolina, D.C., Maryland and would like to continue to grow our divisions. We have had solid Varsity competition in the past and probably the best Junior Varsity tournament in the state of Virginia!  As we get closer to sanctioning girls wrestling in our state, we will continue to spotlight our ladies as well and hope you can help us grow our girls division. We have something for everyone so you can bring your whole team!

We hope you can join us to make this event bigger and better every year! If you have any questions don't hesitate to email me at adam.wynn@cpschools.com or our tournament director Travis Ferguson at Travis.Ferguson@vbschools.com. Can't wait to see you matside!

Respectfully,

Adam Wynn

High School Wrestling / Central Ironman

We will again host our 3 Style Central Ironman tournament.  You can win a medal per style and then a trophy for overall winners in each weight class.  You do not qualify for the trophy if you do not wrestle all three styles.
