Is it time for a comprehensive Wrestling Interpretations Handbook?

Many state High School Athletic Associations have a comprehensive Wrestling Interpretations Handbook similar to the state of New York.

http://www.nysphsaa.org/Portals/0/PDF/Sports/Wrestling/2018-19/2018-2020%20GREEN%20BOOK.pdf

Some State Associations more than others are very detailed like New York.  As a coach, wrestler and/or official would a document like this be helpful or not?  Vote either way.

And if you have an opinion, state it.

Our case manual does a pretty good job of explaining many interpretations and situations.

You are right the Case Book is helpful.  However, the Case Book doesn't cover State specific items or issues.  For example the NCHSAA has something call the "secondary weigh-in" for multi school events or what about minimum requirements for spotlight usage. There are lot of items and/or issues the NCHSAA addresses but does not put into print.  But if they were in print, it would eliminate conflict during the wrestling event.

I'm was wondering about the "new" out of bounds stalling calls. I have not seen any differences in the many, many national and local matches I have seen this season. Is this something that is just not being enforced or will we see it called for the first time at the state tourney (sarcasm)?

Yeah, see I wasn't even aware that wording existed for those things. Especially lighting. If theyre going to make rules, it needs to be in print. That doesn't make much sense at all.
