When should this be called as a submission move? In the rule book it states you cant use the scissors as a submission but I've seen many that are squeezing the life out of the other wrestler,or Is it up to the refs discretion?

1. The rules book does not use the term submission.
2. If a referee feels this hold is applied to punish another wrestler than it is illegal.
3. The determination of punishment is up to the judgment of the official. It is a leg move to scissor the body, but if in the official's judgment, it appears to be punishing, he can stop an penalize.
4. There are no set guidelines for a body scissors, only the referee's judgment.
