« Last post by coachzw on March 19, 2026, 12:15:37 PM »VES in Lynchburg, Virginia is excited to host a one-day Wrestling Camp led by the Lynchburg University coaching staff, including standout clinicians Vinny Barber and Sammy Hillegas. Open to experienced high school wrestlers, this intensive clinic offers high-level instruction, hands-on coaching, and a chance to sharpen skills alongside some of the region’s best (8th graders with two or more years of experience welcome).

I organize the Knockout Christmas Classic down in Kissimmee, FL. It’s a 64-team high school IBT on December 18-19, 2026. We also run Girls and Kids divisions along with the high school event. We host at the 8k-seat Silver Spurs Arena, run 12 mats, are minutes from theme parks, and stream the event live on Flowrestling. I hope this finds you well. I am inviting teams to the 20226 Grant Brace Memorial Tournament that will be held on December 12th at Alcoa High School. This is our first year hosting this event, but we plan to do it annually. This will be a 16 team tournament and we will run it on 3/4 mats. We are inviting some high quality programs and intend on making this a really well run event with a solid level of competition. If you want to lock in a spot, reply to me and I will add you to the list. We are taking the first 15 teams that confirm that they want in. I have attached a flyer for the tournament. Alcoa wrestling will be hosting the first Grant Brace Memorial tournament for varsity on December 12, 2026. This tournament will be run on 3/4 mats. You may enter one wrestler per weight class. Spots for extra wrestlers will be sent out the week of the tournament and will be a first come first serve basis. We will use seeding criteria and the tournament will be seeded based on that the night before. Brackets will be built following weigh-ins. We will have concessions and a hospitality room. We are hoping to have full 16 man brackets.
When:

Weigh ins: 8:30-9:30 Eastern Time
Coaches Meeting: 9:45
Wrestling start: 10:30
Rosters Due: December 10th by midnight
Awards:
Bracket and Shirt for the champion in each weight class
Medals: 1st-4th
Outstanding Wrestler
Plaques for the top 2 teams
Entry:
$200 per team, make checks payable to Alcoa Wrestling and turn those in by the start of the tournament. If you are putting an extra in it is $10 per wrestler after the first 14.
Admission:
$10 per person
$5 per kid, 10 and under free
The tournament will be run on track wrestling with live results and a running bout board.
We are hoping to make this one of the premier tournaments in Tennessee for this weekend. We are allowing 16 teams in and are sending invites to teams from various areas. This should be a really solid mixture of teams that will make for a great day of wrestling. Our school is located very conveniently close to several hotels and restaurants.
