Tournaments and Camps / Oak Hill Wrestling Camps (VA) this summer

There are still plenty of spots left for our inaugural wrestling camps at Oak Hill Academy in rural Mouth of Wilson, VA from late June into July!
The first camp will focus on technique, creativity, conditioning & goal-setting & will be running from June 29th to July 3rd. The camp will feature Tommy Gantt , an NCAA All-American & assistant coach at NC State. The camp will also feature:
- Rob "Prebes" Prebish - a UWW Vet World champ, coach @ east coast powerhouse St. Christopher's School, UWW Cadet silver medalist & Greco specialist
- Brett Rainey - UWW Vet World silver medalist, IBJJF No-Gi World, Pan American & European gold medalist & a hand-fighting specialist.
- Jay Coman - Head coach for successful high school - program, Grayson Co. in Virginia & 4 year starter for NC State.
- Dennis Wymer - head coach for Oak Hill Academy & UWW Vet World bronze medalist.
There will also be a women's only camp from July 6th to July 10th that will feature some of the best the sport has to offer. US World Team member Emma Bruntil will be the featured clinician for the women's camp. The camp will also feature:
- Shelby Kemp- 2025 U20 All-American & William Jewell University standout
- Carrie Ann Randolph - Head Coach of women's program at Heidelberg University
- Aubrey Burkett-Erice - Riverside HS (VA) coach/ Beat The Streets DC & Virginia National Team coach
- Kaylee Anderson - US World Beach team member, 2x All-American (7th place @ 2022 NHSCA Nationals & 8th @ 2022 U20 WTT) & current Marymount University standout
- Jamie Hearl - 13x HS All-American, 2x NC state finalist - Montreat University wrestler; Founder of Mindset. by Jamie Hearl

Job Openings / Moving from PA to NC w several years of coaching

My wife has "HAD IT" as she likes to say about the PA winters! We live in NW PA up on Lake Erie - so the winters are atrocious. My youngest is leaving the nest soon. I run and operate a club team here in PA. Prior to that I was a head coach for 25 years. I coached year-around and had a great deal of success with my kids in folkstyle and freestyle. Im a firm believer in the Olympic styles and enjoy coaching those styles (mainly freestyle).
My wife has her heart set on the Charlotte area due to some home town friends who have relocated there many years ago and enjoy Charlotte. Im open to any part of NC - I don't know much about NC wrestling seen. I do know that NC has their national level studs, and there are pockets / areas/ teams that very competitive at all levels and want to compete at a high level. I would be looking to create a club team in an area that has a strong need for something like that. I've taught PE for 25 years and also have a MS in school admin. I would be interested in coaching at the HS level again if the situation was a good fit. I would also be interested in smaller college programs. But I really like the club scene!
Can some of you fill me in on information on NC wrestling at all levels. Youth, Junior High, HS and club. Programs / towns / areas any info helps!
