Who's got the list of incoming freshman we need to keep eyes on?

Any big transfers happening this year?

Joe Sealey has to be the top of this list. going to High Point Central and will be coached by Richard Herman. If you don’t know who is you will very soon. I promise that. Probably most impressive middle school wrestler I’ve ever soon in NC.  Boy, just had fun and does what he does.

Sealey has been mentioned a few times. He’s should be a threat from the start. What weight do you think he will be?

Jackson Buck will be a freshman at Lumberton. Jackson is pretty tough, he will make some noise pretty early probably in the 126,132 range.

I’d say Sealey will be 132 or 138. Wherever he goes he will be a contender for the title from the start. Also going to be coached by one of the best to ever do it! Can’t wait to see him on the mat next year. Also, have the younger Price kid coming in at Surry Central and RJ James will be stout wherever he goes too.

Kage Williams and Joe Sealy are title contenders right now. They will be a force nationally the next 4 years.

I also like Tre Wilfong and Az Simpson. I think Simpson may not start till the 21-22 school year though.

I am interested in this topic. As I am doing the big boards for Carolina Mat News. So, please keep putting names out so I can add them to my watch list for next year’s freshman big board.

Here are the current Big Boards if you’re interested.

Yes he will be in HS next year. Question is where? I follow Carolina Preps for some football talk and a poster there said he had offers from several out of state schools.

Interesting. I would imagine that Blair is on the list of schools trying to get his services based on his involvement with Buxton. As much as I hope he keeps his talents in-state, I know the draw from some of these prep schools can be too much to resist for some wrestlers and their families.

I agree, these 2 have been on some of the best MS all-star teams the past few years. A little research on Flo Arena and Track Wrestling and you can see some big wins from both. Looks like Kage gave the 4a state champ Cypher his best match of the year at the NCWAY tournament if the bracket is right.

Last week I had Joe Sealey on my podcast. Through this interview which has been posted in anearlier topic on this forum. I got to know a lot about him. He absolutely loves and enjoys wrestling. He doesn’t talk a lot and that’s what made him interesting for me to have on my podcast. No one really knows about him personally. He’s going to be a force to be reckon with right out the gate next year. He has an older brother that should have been a dominant wrestler in North Carolina as well. His brother however never made the best of choices. Joe and his brother are polar opposites. He’ll be a joy to watch wrestle. In all this talk, no one has mentioned Eli Murray. He’ll be another dominant freshman as well to look out for.

Landon Sargent is another name to watch for. He has some good wins on the travel circuit and wasn't afraid to travel outside NC.
